upper level training cycle for artistic photography

This training cycle aims to prepare specialist professionals in the area of photography capable of creating and interpreting aesthetic events. Their work is oriented in a generic manner towards the type of photographic activity related to publicity, design, fashion, social reporting, industry, science, the publishing world, photographic journalism and art .

GOALS

  • Analyze and develop the basic processes of photographic realization .

  • Understand and know how to use the different techniques and styles used in the field of photography .

  • Evaluation in a suitable manner of the requirements present in a work design proposal and be able to skilfully solve the plastic, artistic, technical, organizational and economic aspects in order to be able to carry out a professional project.

  • Research the forms, materials, techniques and creative processes related to Photography.


    ACADEMIC STRUCTURE

    Currículo Artistic Fhotography

    Studies are organized into two academic years in which the following subjects are undertaken :

  • Theory of Image.
  • Plastic Expression: Photography.
  • Photography theory.
  • History of Photography.
  • Photographic Technique.
  • Photography Projects
  • Audiovisual means.
  • Job Training and Orientation.
  • Foreign language.

    The total number of class hours the student is required to realize is 1.750 hours, plus 50 hours of practical on-the-job training .

    Upon termination of these studies, the student is required to do a 150 hour Final Course Project (FCP) .


    DEGREE

    Upon completing the Upper Level Training Cycle, with a positive evaluation of the Final Course Project, the student will be granted the Degree of Higher Technician of Plastic Arts and Design in Artistic Photography.

    These studies are described in Royal Decree 340/1998 of 6 March BOE number 73 of Thursday de 26 of March 1998.
