Product Design is a Specialization which covers the genesis of the multiple objects that make up the human habitat. The complexity inherent in the processes of industrial design make for an integration of a number of levels in this area of Specialization: theoretical and conceptual knowledge are complemented with the knowledge of materials and processes, as well as with aspects related to distribution. In this way the student develops proposals where innovation is directed towards the improvement in the quality of life and the optimization of the features of objects, within a spirit of ethical responsibility towards people and the environment. The different projects included in the program for this area of Specialization cover the different methods of working that the designer can encounter, with a common theme that is set forth for each academic year. These different methodological situations are presented in a variety of projects.
