Death has historically been treated in Western Christian culture as a taboo, something to be feared and fled from. Today, remnants of this phenomenon typical of the Middle Ages still remain and, as a result, reflection on oblivion and ageing in our times tends to be suppressed. This final degree project addressed this issue, taking oblivion and death as its main themes and channelling an exercise in reflection and self-discovery that is perceived as inconceivable among young people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With this motivation and the aim of making a short film that applies these concepts progressively, a multidisciplinary investigation into oblivion and death was carried out, which made it possible to establish film references to guide the conceptualization of the proposal.
