Bachelor’s Degree in Product Design: Jewelry and Object Design Track

The framework in which the Jewelry and Object programme is delivered offers students the opportunity to strengthen their individual identity and introduces them to the cultural space of their future professional activity.

The Jewelry and Object classrooms and workshops also foster conceptual and technical research, examining the social responsibility of the future jewelry professional and the ethical implications of the profession. Observation, analysis, criticism and communication skills are part of the methodological approach of the subjects that make up these studies.

Elective subjects are taught in the first and second semesters of the fourth year and offer content that complements the main programme. Cross-disciplinary in nature, they allow students to explore specific content within and beyond their chosen specialisation, encouraging an interdisciplinary approach and broadening knowledge across different fields of design and creation.

External internships are a training activity carried out by students and supervised by a tutor from the company or institution where they take place, together with an academic tutor from the Escola d’Art i Superior de Disseny de València. Their main aim is to allow students to apply and complement the knowledge acquired during their academic training while, at the same time, developing the competences that prepare them for professional activity, facilitate their employment and foster their entrepreneurial capacity.

To train professionals with specific preparation, able to embrace the dynamic changes that —across different scenarios: economic, environmental, political, cultural and ecological— have accelerated and emerged ever more rapidly and powerfully in recent years, transforming not only the reality of the current business management model but also social reality.
